If I ever have a kid I'm going to try and fake my own death infront of them so they might become a superhero. If they don't I'll pop out five years later and call them a failure and ridicule them so they might become a supervillan.

I went golfing but wore a hat with pockets in it to hold some golf balls and tee's. It was a handy cap, but it actually improved my game.

My Goals for 2008
Prequel Note: This post was lifted from my blog at my site.While my last post was a humorous stab at New Years resolutions I'd like to outline some of my real goals for 2008. Note: I didn't make these up January 1st as a resolution. I've been thinking about and working towards these a goals for a while. They're something I genuinely want to do. When you make up stuff you "want to do" January first (quit smoking, eat better) you'll end up smoking, and eating badly by January 2nd. We're humans, at the end of the day we do what we want to do not what we think we should do. Double Note: I sorted them in to web & life categories, I'm a nerd, heh.
Triple Note: A few of these aren't really goals but reminders to myself to keep going with prior goals  That being said - here they be: Web
These are pretty much my "work" goals. - Threeboy Design
Delete some of the 'dead wood' in my portfolio, and develop a modern website with searching/RSS and all the other 2.0 bells and whistles. Threeboy Design is my bread and butter, it pays the bills and gives me the cash to chase my other goals. - TrueNuff TV!
Take this project to the next level. Develop new site with 2.0 bells & whistles, continue to monetize, merchandize and release a DVD with the content from the last 2 years. - TrueNuff Comic
Take this project to the next level. Develop new site with 2.0 bells & whistles, continue to monetize, merchandize and release a book with the content from the last 7 years. - Shirts & Merchandise
Even though there is a million and two T-shirt sites out there, I've been designing and brainstorming shirt ideas for the past... geeze, year or so. I really gotta get on this. I'm waiting until I have enough of a float to dive in. This also helps the TrueNuff projects above as it's an outlet to sell stuff and merchandize.
Life
The day to day! - Continue Eating Decent
Last year my goal was "eat vegetables everyday" - and something odd happened. I actually acquired a taste for veggies! I now eat more vegetables than I did when I was vegetarian for a year. So to continue that trend I'll just make sure I get my fair share of veggies to balance out the late night pizza binges and copious amounts of beer I drink. - Keep on Walking
Walking is great exercise! Low impact, and if you go for long walks you burn the hard to burn long-term fat reserves in your body rather than the short term fat reserves that are easily burned up from running. I've slowed down in my walking routine in the winter but I still consider going to buy groceries "walking" since you're putting around for a half hour carrying baskets. Walking is especially important for me & other office monkeys who log long chair hours. Gotta get up, get moving, lubricate the joints and get some exercise. - Keep It Regular!
Not in a poop sense, but in a schedule sense. I used to work when I could, and sleep when I could. A life of extremes! I've worked my way into a regular sleep for 7-8 hours, work in the morning and take the evening off (for the most part) schedule and it's probably the best thing I've done for my creative projects. I do more quality work in the morning, and an evening of relaxation lets me enjoy the fruits of my labor, lets me recharge the batteries and prevents me from getting bitter and dreading work. - Move!
Jess & I are planning to move out. We've been together two years and we're taking the next step. It's pretty big since either of us has done anything like this before and I'm looking forward to the challenges that will most certainly arise from the beauty that is shared space. - Learn, Learn, Learn
Learn More! Read More! My "to-read" pile is filled with drawing books, Scott McCloud, Will Eisner, The Wealthy Barber, and a couple books by Masaaki Hatsumi. Never stop learning, stay flexible and be prepared for anything!

My girlfirend just got bangs - she didn't like them at first but eventually they kinda grew on her... or got cut away on her I guess.
